The Berlin Historical Society has taken an active role in Berlin and State activities. For example, we were very active in the CT Department of Transportation work to restore the historic Berlin Train Station. We have been diligent in ensuring the renovation of the 7 Sisters Bridge to be brought back to its original look. It has now been repainted to reflect its original color.
We advocate for saving and repurposing buildings in town with historical value. With the Town, we have been actively engaged with the Economic Development commission, the Town Manager and many more.
